Your max of 400x300 is actually th size of the thumbnails that appear in the entry. try setting it to 60x60.
They haven't posted in my guestbook My site is www.carbonize.co.uk

Email me and I will give you a simple mod to make to log all posts so I can see what is sent.
If you have image verification turned on then they must be manually entered. Or he has written an advanced program to read the image but I doubt that. Is the content of his posts always the same? I could post my mod for blocking posts containing bad words rather than replacing the bad words.
Just to confirm that both the tmp and public folders have their permissions set to 777 ?
I don't see it and yes there are people who manually enter spam.

If he is persistant you could log the complete details of every entry to see if they are bypassing it or not.
Actually it would go in header.php after the <body ...> tag. You could use the templates section of admin but I personally recommend downloading the file by FTP and editing it on your computer.
Yes they are probably still valid but this is why AP 2.0.5 is in development and available on the downloads page.
There will always be sad people who sit there and manually enter spam. Or are we talking about comment spam as opposed to entry spam?
Lazarus is the same as ADG. Have a look http://lazarus.carbonize.co.uk

The mod required for adg would be extensive.
Would take a lot of work to mod AG to do this but Lazarus already has it.
No you just need to copy database information from the config.inc.php file you have now to the one that comes with 2.4.1. hen upload 2.4.1 and run update_db.php that is found in the misc folder of 2.4.1.
Updating to 2.4.1 is relatively simple. The instructions are in the forum somewhere.
I personally use XAMPP for my WAMP setup (Windows, Apache, MySQL and PHP). The full version comes with Perl but I use the lite version. Both do come with GD compiled and I'm sure that from around PHP 4 GD was included with PHP. I think you may have to enable it in php.ini.
Should hope not as Lazarus and Advanced Guestbook aer both written in PHP. Whats the link to your guestbook. PM it to me if you wish.
You cannot I'm afraid. You're only options, as I see it, are to either use Lazarus and it's gbinclude file or us javascrip for displaying the random picture. Or I suppose you could have the random image selected when the template is loaded by template.class.php.
