hai, ive had this guestbook for nearly 2 years now, & never had any problems with it, but since yesterday i get this error when im trying to access it:

i haven't changed a thing so i have no idea what happened..

anyway, i've made a backup of the SQL tables & i also tried installing the newest advanced guestbook version (in different tables & different folders, so not an upgrade) wich doesnt work either.. i run the install.php, it creates the tables successfully, but i cant login (for admin) nomatter what password i use (test 123 doesnt work)
posting as a guest is no problem, i just cant login
ive read some posts of people with the same problem, but none had a decent solution (reinstalling doesnt help, also the default username test & its encrypted password is correct in the database..)

so.. any ideas?

hmmm, i see what you mean!, im not quite sure how to fix that one though, my header image is 750px wide, i may need the help of the master for this one, i may stick with navstudio though - purely because its taken me ages to figure it out and seems daft to go through it all again!!

Hello Group,

I am using the Advance Guestbook 2.2 that came together with the CPANEL given by my web hosting company.

However, some people have placed some links to other sites that have disturbed the guestbook.

In the past, I can login and delete this entry but now, its either I have lost the password or somebody may have changed or hacked it. Is there any ways to retrieve the lost password, or perhaps delete or reset it?

excuse me for being thick!!! but how come when i insert a dhtml menu generated by nav studio 2005 into the page containing my guestbook it doesnt display?? it works fine on all other pages?

even when the user clicks in the poll list to display a previous poll, the newest poll is displayed. i assume that's because i took the code from Demo 3 and just changed "random" to "newest."

so how do i get the previous polls to display? thanks!

Aloha! I am having a real hard time setting up the
Advanced GuestBook. This is the error message I
receive after attempting to create the guestbook:

There was a problem with the install!

When I attempt to modify the existing listed guestbook
created (the above installed gbook), I get this

When viewing the files thru WS_FTP that have been
installed, and comparing to the files downloaded from
the Advanced GuestBook site, one file is missing from
Direct Space installation..install.php. After manually
installing this file through the WS_FTP and accessing
it, I receive a screen "Advanced GuestBook Setup" with
3 buttons; "Create table", "Create new DB and table"
and "Reset". After completing the fields and choosing
the "Create table", I get this page and message:

Advanced Guestbook Tables were created successfully!

Your selected database: viehweg_agbook1
Your MySQL host: viehweg_agbook1
Your MySQL username: viehweg

Click now here to setup the guestbook admin...

This is where the problem lies, once I have clicked to
setup guestbook admin, I get a login page at this
address http://www.viehweg.org/guestbook/admin.php
no matter if I use the user name and password listed
in the "config.inc.php" file, or anything I attempted
to input, nothing is accepted. I am able to view the
guestbook and make entries as if I was the guest, but
as for the administration, can't access and no email
is received when guestbook entry has been made!

Please advise.

After changing settings like path and language Advanced Poll comes up with 2.02 headers en output.

Any idea what is going wrong?
