Hate to say this but none of his mods actually stop spam until after the fact. I just looked at his guestbook and the last three entries are spam - http://www.freerelationshipadvice.com/guestbook/index.php there are two other spam entries on the first page (at this precise moment).

I get the feeling that this is comment spam. they are trying to post spam as comments. I notice you do not have the comments link so you obviously do not use them. It looks like comments cannot be posted on your site. Off the top of my head I'd say you could safely remove comment.php and lib/comment.class.php since you do not use comments. This would also stop comment spam.

Well the message that was being posted when that error occured is blatantly a spam message. If they are receving these error messages then they are not posting via the form. Post a couple of the complete error message in here for me to peruse (remove the urls though, we don't want to help them spam here)

It is the guestbook informing you that there has been an error. You are receiving these emails because you have your email address specified in tec_email which is in the config.inc.php file.

Go into phpMyAdmin and select the correct datatabse (if you have more than one). You should then have a lst of all the tables in that database in the left hand pane. Look for book_auth and click it. You should now see the structure of book_auth in the right hand pane. Click the browse tab. Now in the row marked password type your new password into the far right text box. The third coloumn is marked Function/ Select password on the password row. Whilst you are in this table type in a new username as well then click Go and that should be it.

As I said goto www.carbonize.co.uk/AG and download the reset script.

I thikn there is an option to edit the templates in the admin section of the polls.

I think it's to do with the size of the table that contains th eactual poll. Try editing it's template and setting a height for it.

Possibly to do with the container it is in. I did notice you have doubled up the table

and you have cellpadding="100" in the first one.

I couldn't say if thats part of the polls template or something in your own HTML before the include code.

Well you appear to have patched against the 2.2 logiin exploit and have HTML disabled so al I can assume is they got access some other way. When you say you cannot access the admin what do you mean? At a guess I'd say it's the P at the start.
