Hallo Zusammen,
ich verzweifele!
Ich habe Advanced Poll erfolgreich installiert, bekomme ihn aber nicht in meine Seite eingebaut. Vor den HTML-Tags steht ganz oben: "<?php
include_once "/www/htdocs/outlok/voting/poll_cookie.php";
?>
An der Stelle, wo der Poll erscheinen soll: "<?php
include_once "/www/htdocs/outlok/voting/booth.php";
echo $php_poll->poll_process(3);
?>
Trotzdem zeigt sich an der Stelle auf der veröffentlichten Seite immer nur der Eintrag : " poll_process(3); ?> anstatt der Umfrage.
Was mach ich falsch?
Danke
Olaf

Not sure if I understand the question properly, but . . .
There's a difference adding a comment to to a visitor's post and signing the guestbook.
You can stop people from adding a comment to someone's post by requiring a password to do that, but I don't think you can require a password to post to the guestbook itself.
You might get around it by protecting the entry page with some type of javascript, but that's far from foolproof.

i was just wondering what perl modules are required?

In Guest book 2.2 visitor password feature doesn't work. Anyone can login to post comments. I only want people with a select few predetermined passwords to be able to comment.
Any suggestions anyone?

I'm not trying to put images anywhere, the images that come with the poll are not showing up.
When you vote, the bars are broken images. In the admin section, none of the pictures show.

You should find a line in form.php that looks something like:
input class=inputbox type="text" name="gb_email" size="xx" maxlength="xx"
In mine, although I've changed the code a bit, it's around line 100
Just change the max length field. I've used 50. You can also change the size field if you want.

Hi Auron,
I came across this thread while looking for information on my own troubles with Advanced Poll. Your manual helped me figure out my problem and I just wanted to say thanks! Excellent work!

My poll is on a page that uses include files for the header and footer. Not sure if this make a difference, but these are the errors I receive after selecting and opting and clicking vote.
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/quadindu/public_html/62mm/index.php:2) in /home/quadindu/public_html/62mm/polls/poll_cookie.php on line 21
Thx...

I've done everything possible to change the 8 point font to something larger, but I can't do it. Where is this attribute hidden? I've even used a program to change every template and misc file to 14 point font, but it still didn't change it!
Does anyone know how I can change this font size? You can see my polls here:

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for trying to help. However, there is no header.php file in the advanced poll software. There is also no option in the admin settings to change the font size.
Can anyone else help?
Jay
