One of the menu options in the admin are should take you to the
license or something like that. Its a page with three text boxes that
have code for various ways of displaying the poll.

Change page extension from *.html/*.htm to *.php
|
|
|
go to general settings in the admin area and change the img/image path until the images show up.

I have no idea. If it works now it works.
Hopefully it won't do it again.

I still don't see why changing a line of PHP would stop ONLY IE from seeing the results.
So I reckon it was the JavaScript like Carbonize just said.
edit; wait. I have no idea. Something weird and odd was going on....

VLC is useful to play .avi files on Mac OS X.
If its not showing the results maybe the poll is set to something which I can't remember in the admin section. I know! If they've set an expiry date for a poll... i think...

Hope it works now.
I had the same kind of problem with variables in my URL.
okay. The guy' talking about stats and your talking about URL variables and the like.
wth is going on here?!
|
|
|
what do you mean by stats?
the results? or the stats for each poll containing who voted for what and how many?
|

any where you want it to be.
nb. db for database, MySQL etc, and the other is based around saving the data to text files.
|
|
|
search for cookies, ip table, logging, checking ip table and finally advanced poll installation instructions.
search in this forum-support.
|
|
|
Not sure if people can do that.
I think they have to have an instance of the method you mentioned.
All guess work mind you, why don't you try it for yourself?
edit; even if you did collect the addy and store it in the db it would only display if you edited the files and templates to display it. Unless you made them put the addy in the comments field.

If you use the same poll, with the same poll id the cookie still works for that poll.
So no to that.
It would be easier to create a new poll each week, then they have to vote to a poll with a different poll id and then you just need to set the cookie to last for a week.
Or you could forget cookies and switch on logging for a poll then in settings set one of the setting to check ip table or something like that.
hope that helps, lol. : )
