God I hate it when hosts mangle perfectly good scripts and then leave the script writers to fix it. Download the guestbook from here and, after editing the config.inc.php file, upload it to a folder on your site. I'm guessing the MySQL tables have already been created for you. Actually I was wrong to post my line as you are using AG 2.2. Anyway I can send you the copy of gb.class.php I have if you want to replace yours.

templates/form.phpchange the maxlength. There is 60 characters possible for the database entry so I'd suggest a maxlength of 50, 55 at most.

Still say they should dump AOHell and use a decent email service. My offer a gmail invite still stands. They could try your method but odds are the emails are getting blocked for their content rather than the from address.

Auron I think what he means is that when you click View Results or Bekijk resultaten it takes you back to the same page and does not show the results. His problem actually has nothing to do with the poll script but with this bit of code that appears near the bottom of the results page.

Just like to add for Nexus's benefit that Winrar is better than winzip and I wouldn't say VLC was the best media player. It's a good player but there are better for both audio and video.

I'd just go for $from_email = ($this->email == "") ? "guestbook@mysite.com" : $this->email; this way if they provide an email address the email will come from their address otherwise it will come from guestbook@mysite.com

Unfortunately as JTD said AOL's spam filters are notoriously paranoid. I don't know if they have a bulk or junk folder where these emails may end up. I'd personally suggest changing to a better email provider. If you wish I can send you a Gmail invite, just email me so I can send an email to your email address (and then probably have to send you the link in a private email when AOL blocks the invte).
