All the templates are in the templates folder.
templates/form.php
Stupid question but did you change the www.domain.com part to reflect your site?
From a quick scan of the scripts you can make a variable in the cookie called lang in which you can specify english or german and the guestbook should honour it.
The script now adds the slashes in the checkPass function. Why they have not changed the version number I don't know. If you look at the 2.3.1 files now you can see that some of the files were modified on 3rd December 2004. This is one of the reasons that I restarted my update. I will send a copy of 2.3.2 to the webmaster wehen it is complete.
Because in the top bit of code I can login to your admin section using the 2.2 login exploit where as the bottom bit prevents this.
I should of been clearer. He has only patched the URI Cross Site Scripting Exploit.
Oh and I beleive there is a hardcoded limit of 200 characters per word.
Yes I did. As I said it would require a rewrite of the dispay entries function as well as the add entry and admin sections.
Check the maximum word length you have specified in your database. The error message you refer to is when they have posted a word that is longer than allowed.
Can you give us an example of a post that gives them this message?
Personally I'd remove the entire post. Anyway to remove the picture you would have to go into phpMyAdmin or similar and delete the entries in book_pics (or whatever it's called) that has the same ID number as the post in question. Complicated I know but at present the only way to do it.
I can send you the current beta version of 2.3.2 (temporary name). It has a simple anti spam method built in. It works fine and you simply replace your current guestbook files with the new ones. All you have to do is edit the config file.
I already have a quick and dirty way of doing it that would involve removing the private messaging function and using that. To implement it as an extra feature is simple in theory (ie add an extra field to the table) but it's the yes/no code plus the rewrite of the display code used on the index page. They usually want it to they get an email sent to them when a new post ismade and then they have two links in the email to say yes or no. I'd personally make them login to check for posts awaiting moderation as it's more secure and I think given that the script is free they should be grateful. The last guy who requested it has since installed a different guestbook and ended uppaying something like $70 for the guestbook and customisation.

Like, when someone posts, the messages gets put in a queue or something so I can edit or reject posts before other people see them. This would be great for family-friendly sites.

Yes I have already discussed this in depth with another person. I pointed out that it would require some serious coding time and given that the guestbook is free and we are volunteers it's not going to happen unless either I get very bored or get a client who requests it.
