try removing ths line
Redownload the guestbook from here and overwrite your current files with the downloaded ones. You can keep the same config file and you wont need to run install again.
Already have lol. Time to de-ice the batmobile.
You can redownload the guestbook and then overwrite the files on your site with the ones you have downloaded. All the configuration and posts are kept in your mySQL database and so will still be there. You do not need to run the install file again but you will need to edit the config.inc.php file again.
Check the times :p I was on the reply page as you posted yours.
Most hosts provide you with phpMyAdmin these days and as ET said you can delete multiple entries in there by navigating your way to the book_data table.
If you want the email to always come fom a specific address simply open up lib/add.class.php and locate this lineon the next line simply replacewith the email address you wish it to come from. You can either leave the name that is sent with the email address or change it to something by editting the ".$this->name." part to say <Guestbook>
You are missing the worf if.
Ok I deleted the post. You need to edit your lang/english.php file as there is a lot of space after the closing ?>. The only patch you really need to apply is http://www.carbonize.co.uk/Board/viewtopic.php?t=20
This is what a search on google produced - "Max_Questions i think is a setting that limits how many querys you can run in a set ammount of time. you might want to contact your host."
did you change all instances of it in the pages i listed?
He aint done anything to the guestbook in the 2 years I have been using it. I don't think he even visits the site anymore or updates ANY of the scripts. I was in the middle of updating his script to patch these things but have become sidetracked with my own guestbook script as I'm fed up of patching this one and trying to work around his weird code.
Apparently they have changed the password encryption in the latest versions of MySQL so as the install script plonks the encrypted password straight into the database based on the old method ............
Weird. Try my password reset script - www.carbonize.co.uk/reset.zip
Click free scripts in top left then click the download image next to Advanced Guestbook 2.3.1
