Did you tell it to send you email notfications and did you supply a valid email address ?

Enabling HTML is a dangerous thing to do as it then allows ANY HTML to be posted. Several guestbooks have been defaced because they had HTML enabled. You can post an image using the AGode so long as AGcode is enabled.

That only happens when either large images are posted or a really long word is posted. You should be able to prevent this by changing the maximum allowed word length in Admin - General Settings.

Ok I have come to a decision so I thought I better make it public. I am currently working on Advanced Guestbook 2.4 and a smart installer to add extra fields and options, fix exploits and bring some of the code upto date. My decision is this, after I release Advanced Guestbook 2.4 I will not be working on the Advanced Guestbook anymore in any way shape nor form except to fix any possible bugs I put in 2.4. This means I will not be writing any more modifications nor patching exploits unless I made the exploit possible. While I work on the Advanced Guestbook I will never get the credit for it as I am just building on anothers work. So instead I will be starting work on my own guestbook which I admit will be heavily influenced by the Advanced Guestbook. I doubt I will be adding AGcode nor image uploading. I will be trying to add a lot of the functionality that has been requested in these forums though. Anti Spam will be high in my list of priorities along with ease of fitting it into a website. If you have any ideas for what you would like to see in a guestbook then feel free to post them in the forum on my site. Once I start work I will, in all probability, be leaving this forum as I am fed up of the lack of moderation and the lack of input from the webmaster.

I was thinking more of implementing the intelligent BBcode button system utilised by this forum.

No the exploit exists. I have been in touch with the person that posted it and I was confusing the URL input with the actual URI. I think it was actually recently fixed in 2.3.1 but nothing was said as I noticed soem new lines when I downloaded it agan recently.

The templates are there for your editing. the header.php file contains the body tag and also the css.

hmmm guess he added the gb_ prefix in 2.3. Back up your files before making the changes.
