Hallo Leute,

hoffentlich geht es Euch besser. Ich komme nicht mehr weiter.
Habe laut Anleitung eine "umfrage.php" generiert und in das Stammverzeichniss der Domain gelegt.
Habe dann die Datei mal probeweise im Browser aufgerufen und einen Poll abgeschickt. Ging prima!
Das Problem: Advanced poll bannt meine IP, damit ich nicht mehrfach pollen kann, was ja auch Sinn macht.

Wenn ich danach den Quelltext von "umfrage.php" in eine html-Seite einfüge und diese Seite dann nach dem upload aufrufe, dann sehe ich nur die Pollergebnisse (mit dem Hinweis. dass ich schon abgestimmt habe). Leider sehen alle diese Datei so, können also nicht mehr abstimmen. Wie resetted sich die "umfrage.php" eigentlich bzw.wie setzte ich den php-script korrekt in eine html-Seite ein?
Wo muss die php-Datein liegen? Im Stammverzeichniss der Page, im Unterverzeichnis der Poll-Dateien, oder im Unterverzeicnis, das die Seite enthält, in die ich das Script einsetzen möchte.

Wer jetzt noch durchblickt möge mir auf die Sprünge helfen.

You should find or have a tag that looks like this  at the end of the guestbook.html file. if it not there then the guestbook.pl will not work

I've lost count how many times I've tried to supply the simply information on the install.php screen. I know "database" can be whatever name I choose and "MySQL host" is just localhost, but I don't know what "MySQL username" and "MySQL password" are.

All the MySQL info was already set up on my host so I don't know how to find out what the MySQL username and password are. Where would I get this info?

when i try to connect to my db , i cant get any result bcoz i include the poll , when i remove it it works fine .

I found the poll but here is my problem. I have it installed and working on my server. I want to bring up a poll on MY server from another website. (putting html on that website to view my polls) How would I reference the poll on the webpage that is not on my server? What html code?

Juhu, ich hab es endlich geschafft meine poll online zu stellen.
Ich möcht das ganze aber ein bißchen an meine Seite anpassen.
Und zwar: seitenränder der umfrage definieren und auf null setzen
und hintergrundbild in die tabelle der Umfrage einbinden!

Hab schon alles versucht. Hat jemand ne ahnung wie das funzt?
