Hello, I need help adding a field in the advance guestbook. I already added the new field in the mysql. called "last" right below "name" I think I changed all the files but evidently not because it's not recording it on the database nor is it showing up on the index page.

So far I made the changes to addentry.php, entry.php, and form.php. Is there another file that I am forgeting to ad to to make this record to the database?

Thanks, Jason
Haven't changed a thing, only the config.inc for MySQL connection. I don't think a .php file is damaged, I tested the guestbook on my own computer (Apache server) and it worked fine.
hi i need to know if i can get a free php for free
If I look in the source code then I don’t see the messages either.
Maybe one of the php files is damaged, but I don’t know which one.
Did you change anything?
Nope, background color=white and font color=black so that's not it.

Hallo,

würde gerne die Benachrichtigungsmail irgendwie ändern. Die Emailadresse sollte mitgeschickt werden um ggf. direkt zu antworten und nicht nobody@...
Wo finde ich das?

Stephan
I installed Advanced Guestbook and everything is working, but when someone post an new entry, the enrty isn't displayed on the screen. I do get the message "your entry was added succesfully" but the text of the entry isn't displayed...
The name, homepage etc. are displayed, but the comment isn't.
I looked in MySQL and the entries are visible in the table book_data so there is no problem there.
Someone got an idea what I can do to fix this?

Thanx in advance.
have to use another one i guess.....
%0ø6Ìnt think it was that difficult.....
thank you, it's ok now.
Advanced Poll -> Admin -> General Settings

What is the server time offset feature? I (and most of my visitors) live in the Pacific Time zone, but my server is in the Eastern Time zone. We are thre hours behind where my web server is. So do I set the option for 3 hours, or 21 hours?
alright me again... dont bother ..i found out my mistake... it was my page that was in .html or i renamed it to .php and work ...good script dood; keep up the good work
In the Admin login screen, on the Templates tab, just above the list of configurable items, there is a message that reads : 'Give write permissions to the webserver on the template files!' I'm wondering how to go about doing this. I don't use Front PAge or Dream weaver or any other program, I'm a straight forward text editor person. Can someone help me out?
I also need help with this, any direction is appreciated. It tells me to 'Give write permissions to the webserver on the template files', but I don't know how to go about doing this.
Ok so i installed everything ... i made the poll with all the potion i wanted in the admin area and now i want to add the poll on my web page... you say to insert this 'in your page if you want to add the poll on my web page' -> <?php
// Important! You have to include it before your html code
include_once "/var/www/free.fr/e/1/adridrousmtx/site files/poll voting/db/poll_cookie.php";
?>

<html>
<body>
<?php
include_once "/var/www/free.fr/e/1/adridrousmtx/site files/poll voting/db/booth.php";
echo $php_poll->poll_process(1);
?>
</body>
</html>

----> welll still it dont work so i just want to know how do i put a poll in my page?
guess no one knows....
