You will find the code that points to the image in templates/body.php. You could resize the image by alering the width= and height= attributes of the img tag but it will go pixellated. Remember you are free to change the look of the guestbook to suit your needs.

phpMyAdmin is free so I recommend downloading it and thn uploading it to your old host. Then you can simply download the databases in a format ready for installing on the new server.

My reset script didn't work. I'll make one from scratch rather than editing the install.php.

lol not really good advertisement for your services. Anyway if you do a search you will find this problem has been asked many times. If you have access to phpMyAdmin you can simply manually change the username and password back to their defaults. The password is encrypted so yu will need to copy it exactly from the install.php file or find it posted somewhere in here.

The post you are refering to is an automated posting. This is why the image verification mod was created. If you wish I can look at removing the offending post for you but I would require access to the guestbooks admin section. This goes for both people.

Only just realised that the above bit of code I posted is actually taken from my version of he guestbook and contains code only relevant to my version. Anyway the code on page 1 is correct.

Try just padding: 0; and possibly margin:0;. And as Auron said did you actually add the class attribute to the table tag?

Not to my knowledge no. You'd be better off asking on their forums. And while you're there update to 2.0.10 and read the new regarding a recently found exploit and how to patch it.

Lost me there as the guestbook doesn't support IM's. Unless you mean if they supplied one when they signed in which case it's everyone or no one.

lol it's not my guestbook, I'm just a user/modifier. As you know programming you will be familiar with most of how PHP works, if you program in C/C++ then you wil be very familiar indeed. PHP is simpler than programming in many ways. For a start you do not have to declare nor define variables as they get created on first use. I say give it a go, you'll be suprised at how easy the basics of PHP are.

A lot I'm afraid. You would have to make new fields in the book_data table of your MySQL. You would also have to make the templates for the forms. To be honest it would be simpler to just write your own script from scratch as I doubt you require 75% of the guestbooks scripting. I assume you know HTML and how to make forms and so you just need to learn some basic PHP for form handling and storing the data.

Well unless you had previously altered the scripts may I suggest just reuploading the guestbook and modding it again.

Ewwww at Yahoo. Might be worth reading their FAQ see if it says anything about it there or possibly in your hosting package details.

Once again a thread that makes it look like I need a life

yeah yeah
I've just noticed I have the most posts on this forum (620 with this one) and Auron is second with 566. Third is Amber222 with 250 followed by JTD with 232.
They quickly build up don't they.
