Is there someone who can help me with installation on guestbook 1.5? The problem is I don't know how to change the mode of guestbook.pl into the specified mode. Now I'm using WsFTP to upload my files. So how can I change the mode with WsFTP? Someone help??

I think Jason is finding problem with step No 7 because you didn't mention to him to click on the file book_auth in the left so that the statement "SELECT * FROM `book_auth` WHERE 1" appear in the white data entry field.

The poll is set to not allow voting again for 96 hours. To solve open the file "poll_cookie.php" in the main folder and edit this line.

$cookie_expire = 96; // hours

Change 96 to whatever you like and upload to your server.

Examples 1 = 1 hour
.0166 = 1 minute

Sweet! Thanks man. The problem *I* was having was that I didn't have the cookie info BEFORE the opening <HTML> tag. Placing it before it fixed that problem. The next one to tackle is that it's letting me vote more than once so...I'll work on that next and if I can't get it or find it...I'll be posting again.
