I read in the instructions with the downloaded zip file, changed the php file, but I don't have a GUESTBOOk folder or directory.....so I have nowhere to upload it to....

I'm using the guestbook through my web hosting company and they don't offer support!
How can I get my password resetted to my guestbook?
I can't get in?

I tried the test and 123 but got nothing.

edit; Read stickies, Auron.
Thanks, that solved the problem

Charles
In reset.php, you enter a username and password. I used that password.

I went to www.carbonize.co.uk/reset.zip and downloaded the file. Then I carefully followed your instruction in the readme.txt file. When I ran it, and entered the same password that I had entered in the reset.php file, I got the "Invalid password." And I tried it several times and also double checked that I had followed your instructions.

For the second time they got into our guestbook and entered a lot of posts, much of it porn. But this time they managed to change my username/password so that I couldn't get in and fix it. I am running version 2.3.1 I tried using the reset.zip. It did not work, when I run it, I am asked to enter my password. Then it tells me "Invalid password" What now?

Charles
I tried... for the last 3 hours: Iam basically trying to put in a poll (original amn't I!)
AFter I create the poll it tells me:
To embed a poll into a webpage insert the code snippet from below:
I do: but obviously I am missing some thing because here is what I get:
http://www.atticusco.com/racing/survey1.htm
I need help, can someone look at the source code & take me out of misery
I obviously am not a php guy....
Thanks in advance
no, I meant include a separate php script file. It's an image scroller script that pulls thumbnails from Coppermine Photo Gallery. I've tried <? include('myscript.php'); ?> as well as entering the entire code at the top of the header.php and body.php files.

It doesn't get parsed (I believe that's the right term). I can see the code (<? include('myscript.php')> when I view the page source.
Is it possible to add a script to the advanced guestbook templates...either header.php, body.php or footer.php? I'd like to add an image scroller to the page and have tried using includes but it doesn't work...so I'm guessing the answer to my question is no...but I thought I'd ask anyway
I think textfiles version is not going to work.

Kindly tell me how to install db version. my server has Mysql installed over it.

define me these few things

Where to upload poll files and directories?

supose I installed my poll at http://mydomain/poll/

what would be paramteres for the following in config file

$POLLDB["dbName"] = "YourDBName";
$POLLDB["host"] = "localhost";

thanx
I'm not sure, but maybe if you upload the original template again, you'll be in business?

It's not just this poll either, if i create a new poll and don't mess with it's template, it won't show up either.

Anyone have advice?

Thanks,

Oops

Thanks, Auron. Makes sense.

They are viewable in the admin panel and viewable on a web page.
Have a look at the demo polls on this site under free scripts -> adv. poll -> demo
Im getting the same problem...
oh, yes that's possible, my comment table has 4591 entries

would be cool if you can fix it. i'll stay tuned ...

I did the whole admin panel thing... and the images showed up on my poll but nothing shows up in my "admin" area. Like no images show up there.
