OK back up your current SQL database. Download www.carbonize.co.uk/install.zip and extract the file. Replace the install.php in 2.3.1 with this one. Then upload 2.3.1 to your host, preferably in a different folder to 2.2. Fill i the admin/config.php and then try the install.php. I hope it works.

btw if English isn't your first language try posting in both English and your native tongue. Hopefully one of us will also speak it or can look it up.

Just remember that the "hackers" just log in and edit an existing post so the IP you see is actually the original poster and not the "hacker". I use the term hacker loosely as these are not hackers but script kiddies. Hell even thats paying them a compliment.

I have a script I wrote to upgrade the database from 2.2 to 2.3.1. It is untested though so I need volunteers who have emtpy guestbooks or have a back up of their SQL database.

I wrote a script for upgrading from 2.2 to 2.3.1 but I haven't had chance to test it. If it doesn't work I will just take the 2.3.1 install file and integrate your code. Still need testers though as my servers being funny

Open up the admin/config.php and look for where it asks you to input a BASE_URL or something similar. It is not getting the correct url so you will have to put the guestbooks url in this variable.

Check the HTML that is produced. Maybe the path to the image is wrong.

Fixed.
Since you are using 2.2 and now have no entries how would you fancy trying my upgrade script which should update the SQL entries from 2.2 to 2.3.1. At worst you will just have to delete all the entries from the database but as it's blank anyway .......

This has been discussed in the forums before. Please do a search. You need to edit templates/com.php.

The guestbook already limits the file types they can upload. The image verification is just to stop spam.

think I would have to install PHP Nuke to fix this one. Images are easy to fix as you can right click to get the properties and see where it is pointing to. Pauls problem is a weird one as the files are correct and it appears to be working right so I need to delve into how the book interacts with the CMS.

I'm wondering if PHPNuke didn't change something since AG 2.3.1 was released as AG 2.3.1 was written to integrate into it form what I have seen in the code.

If we are talking about the guestbook you can put the includes at the start and end of the index.php file. Thats how I do it.

Try this. I had a look at what you were using and noticed it differed from the one on dynamic drive.
