I've been using Advanced Poll and Guestbook for almost a year on my website and I am really happy with them. But now, I made the whole site dynamic and I have a problem with the Poll.

Here is the page:

Poll is in the middle on the right side. I want the newest one to be displayed and I have chosen the pop up template, having written the code like this:

$php_poll->set_template_set("popup");
echo $php_poll->poll_process("newest");
?>

But, I am getting a JavaScript error every time I want to vote or check results.

Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong?

So I got the polling cookie to work properly, which has now uncovered another slight problem:

I've set the poll to display the results in a pop-up window. Now, if someone has already voted, the results will display within the parent page, taking on the dimensions (500x300 px) of the pop-up window. This obviously throws the page layout out of whack.

I've already tried altering the poll results templates, from the admin and directly to the file, update_202.php, so that the table isn't so large, but to no avail.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

haha, yes duh indeed. switching the Checking setting to IP Table did the trick. thanks again

When i activate checking, everyone get the message "you have already votet".

i have use the script as textpoll.

bei mir wird keine neue logfile erzeugt. Ich erhalten nirgends Fehlermeldungen, aber es werden eben keine Resultate angezeigt.

This is incorrect:
/home/usr/you/links

It has to be changed to your path example
/home/l/lmf333/htdocs/links

Something like that you got to ask tripod. Thats the only thing from what you say I can see wrong

The path to both files are incorrect
