Hab ein kleines mit dem Script.
Das GB habe ich in meinem Shop integriert. Läuft auch alles soweit. Nur wenn ich auf einen Eintrag einen Comment geben will, bekomme ich folgende Fehlermeldung.

Der Comment wird aber eingetragen. Nur Das GB wird durch den Fehler nicht neu geladen.
Dann möchte ich noch das Kästchen für "Persöhnliche Nachricht" entfernen. Wo ist dieses definiert?

What is the simplest way to have a second guestbook - I have one already working fine. but want a second separate one to be called from a different page to be a different guestbook. IS it possible, e.g change DBname, but waht else must be changed as well.

to modify template php files, you need to give public write permission to the file you want to modify. In your case, you want to modify header.php, so, if you have ssh (or telnet), ssh to your web server and change the permission of the file like such:
chmod 777 header.php

If your server doesn't have ssh or telnet suport, most of FTP program have chmod feature has well. In this case give write to others.

I just installed the Advanced Guestbook on my site.
I having little bit hard time...
I would like to add my logo on it. It is a Jpg files.
How i have to do for add it on?
When i go on my Guestbook Admin /Template and i try to paste in html Header.php folder i get this message:

"Give write permissions to the webserver on the template files!"

Where i have to go to change this? Or what i have to do? Because i don't know if it's right change the permission.

Please give me some help i wish some steps in detail!

irgendwo - meine ich - habe ich gelesen, das man den advanced poll auch bezahlen kann, wenn er einem gefaellt, etc. aber ich finde diesen text nicht mehr, genausowenig, wie irgendwo auf der webseite einen hinweis, an wen zu zahlen ist...

kann mir bitte jemand helfen?

der poll ist so gut, ich finde, der entwickler sollte entlohnt werden.

It will not find any files in the base directory though, have I set it up wrong? I wasn't sure what to put

I came across this site (which is great by the way) wanting to set up my own guestbook on my webspace. I currently have webspace on warped (http://warped.com - HIGHLY recommened) and it says that it supports Perl however, I am not able to edit the guestbook.pl file. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Klar geht das, Du mußt nur den Gästebuch-Root richtig definieren.

Halt auf dein Bild verweisen und an deine BildGröße anpassen mit width und height.
