I can see it works NOW... I have the same error Parse error: parse error, unexpected
help...
|
 |
|
|
I got it working except that it does not track all the visits to my site, it only tracked 6 visits when my other counter clocked over 100?
Why could this be?

I have the following at the top of the voting page:
<?php
// Important! You have to include it before your html code
include_once "/home/httpd/vhosts/xxxxxx.com/httpdocs/pollphp/textfile/poll_cookie.php";
?>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
(etc, etc)
However after voting I get the following (everything else is fine):
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/httpd/vhosts/xxxxxx.com/httpdocs/poll.php:1) in /home/httpd/vhosts/kimonoboy.com/httpdocs/pollphp/textfile/poll_cookie.php on line 21
What am I doing wrong?

Hey guys..
I've installed the polls script and I've got it working, are able to show it and all, BUT the cookie feature isn't working. This is mainly due to the fact that we use SHTML instead of php.
So how can I make the polls show the results if you have voted, any clues ?
Oh and I've searched this forum, didn't find any answers..

could also try putting.
$base_dir = "../htdocs/logfiles";

Hi,
I have changed offset (exit.here.ws) and it worked OK but after several weeks
(today) visitors noticed a weird error - Guestbook displays January!
I checked offset, it shows: -3448 (?!) and I'm not able to change this number.
Maybe I need to change permission to a file but I don't know which one...
Thank you!

The body Tag should be as follows:
<body bgcolor="$VARS[pbgcolor]" link="$VARS[link_color]" vlink="$VARS[link_color]" background="http://www.yourdomain.com/background.gif">
Or what ever your background gif is called.

Great script!! great guestbook!! but i stil get some strange errors.
If I (or anyone) enter the guestbook. It works just fine or i got this error:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /root/guestbook/lib/gb.class.php(153) : eval()'d code on line 1
When this happens and I press F5 several times it does load the page properly?!?!
When i want to sign the guestbook. I got the same error.
public & tmp are chmod 777
