OK I've answered my own question, to avoid "Vote" screwing up links, I added a base href to solve the problems. So pls ignore all my previous posts here.

But I'm still not getting the cookies to work right - it works in one browser but not the other two so that the Poll Results show after you click on Vote.
Everything works perfect, and when I display the results as a percentage; it looks great. However, when I choose to display as a number, the "leading" result is shown with a graph, but there is no number next to it.

Check www.netjak.com to see what I mean.

If anyone has any suggestions; I would appreciate it. Thanks!
OK, I got the Poll Results page to show. There were 2 problems in my original post. I'm more concerned about my page getting messed up after I click on the Vote button - page is reparsed, but image links and css links are broken.

Has anyone come across the same problem, any tips will be appreciated.
I've successfully changed the tabel size within the pop up via the Templates function in the admin panel, just click on popup from the drop down list, then click on the go icon, select view results and change the table width from Header
Installed text version, got script to work but it isn't working perfectly. Tested in NS7, Opera 7 and IE6. When I click on Vote, it returns to the same page showing Poll View instead of Results View. Not only that, it screws up my page when it is redisplayed, the images are missing and the style sheet is missing. However, if I click on See Results, the page looks fine.

I know that the poll_ssi.php file processes the page by rewriting the page URL

Does any one know how I can fix this problem?
I've been through the same thing and was very fed up with the script. I've installed many CGI scripts before but none with such scant and cryptic documentation. Had major problems embedding the php call in the html page. I then discovered that you can also call the script using an include virtual command with SSI! So I got it to work, except that the stats color bars are not showing up and the stats don't seem to be correct, I have yet to tweak it some more to get it to work properly. In a nutshell, it doesn't have to be a .php file.
agcode is simply the abbreviation for advanced guestbook code as bbcode is bulletin board code, its a simplified version.
mine doesnt seem to want to work, so id be looking for ways to fix and alter it for the future if i find a solution ill let you know, smilies work but url and img dont work using the ag fuction. why i dont know.
is there a way to be able to export the results as a comma delimited or tab delimited file? I want to be able to download my results so that I can put them into a report.

Thanks
Metalllz, do you have it fixed already?

hello,

I installed the Advanced poll on my server and it works but when I set a template I made the poll does not appear on the page.
For example:
$php_poll->set_template_set("mytemp");
echo $php_poll->poll_process(5);

If I use the templates that already exists the poll appears...
$php_poll->set_template_set("plain");
echo $php_poll->poll_process(5);

Any clue?

Thank you very much

I have the same problem with SSI. The poll shows up, when you try to vote you get the message "Poll ID does not exist".
This script does not seem to fully work with SSI, some other scripts do at the same SHTML-page. Giving the page an PHP-extension is not an option for other reasons.
I found no solution in this forum so far, so if there is no ohter option I will have to take some other polling script - quite sad, because otherwise it's working fine....
