That is the first time I have ever come across that issue. Easy enough to code a check for but very bizarre.
You can remove the @ from @mail to make it show any errors.
The address you have supplied is correct yes? And you have checked spam folders?
Subject is in the language file so I'm guessing for you lang/english.php
Message subject and body are hard coded in to files.
Possibly they do not allow scripts to send emails. GoDaddy are slightly crap to be honest.
Have you tried making an entry and seeing if it sends you a thank you email?

That is a feature of AG if memory serves.
You need to either edit entry.php to remove that part of try Lazarus.
Does the file you copied that in to end with the .php extension?
you will find it under the free scripts link top left.
Guestbook uses about 15 templates so somethings not right there.
You have no header.php file in the templates folder? That's weird.

Lazarus has more options and more anti spam in place but it's up to you if you want to try it.
When creating the poll you can specify what colour to use for each answer. Is there no way to edit existing polls?
Edit the poll and change the colour used for each answer. It should make more sense then.
Got a link so I can see?
