HIJACKED. YOU JUST DON'T GET IT DO YOU?!

I've installed the script and cannot get the poll results table to be the same width as the poll view table that I set in the general settings tab of the admin page. Do I have to change the files manually for each table or should the admin page cover this?

Hallo ihr Lieben, ich benutze das advanced guestbook 2.3.1. u. musste alles erneuern weil das Ding gehackt wurde, dass heisst meine ganzen schönen Einträge sind nu weg. *heul* Gibt es da irgendeine Möglichkeit die wiederzubekommen? Wäre echt sooooo dankbar wenn jemand was wüsste. LG-heike

I installed the poll script and it works great, except for one issue for the view comments. When I try replacing the poll-id with "newest", it won't display it. It works for displaying the newest poll, but not the newest comments. Thanks in advance for the help...

I finally found it.

After realising that there must be an object in the header or footer file that would make my table 900 px wide. It appears that index.php uses the html tag <hr> (horizontal rule) which i had set to be 900 px (For my own site.) so the table now also became 900 px wide.

After i saw it, it was easy to solve.

I added the guestbook to my webpage by inserting my html into the header.php and footer.php.

Now the admin.php and the addentry.php are displayed as should be. but index.php is var to wide.

The navigation i got right by typing a absolute value (520 px) in the admin mode. but the entry's that are listed are somewhere around 800 px or so (so it looks really uggly)

I even tried modifying body.php and replaced $var[width] with an absolute value and tried it with percentage but it does not work.

Any idea?

I'm on linux.

(can't figure out why this is happening)

but scince it looks like you have written all of/some of the code it seems like i found the right person! (judging from all the other posts you have answered)

hi there, got the strangest problem here with the advanced guestbook.

I added it to my page and i got i working (i think)

Images are showing and db & tables are set up.

Now when i want to add an entry to the guestbook it does add the entry to my db but then i get the following error

Warning: chdir(): Permission denied (errno 13) in [mydir]/guestbook/lib/add.class.php on line 66

and then (now comes the weirdest part) it deletes all the files that are in the root directory of my guestbook (so it deletes, install.txt, addentry.php, admin.php etc)

I don't think this is normal

Anyone has an idea (i haven't changed anything in the script.

Guestbook. I repaired the database and still was messed up. So, deleted it for the time being. I'll try a re-install later.
