Hello,

I got it to work for me !

Yes, we have to edit the config.php file..the base_url has to be set and everything works fine..I even customised the entire guestbook to suit my sites design !

Thank you
I found the problem with mine, your mileage may vary.

In the ../admin/config.inc.php file

about 15 - 20 lines up from the bottom, there is THIS string:

It SHOULD look like this..

I had missed the two quotation marks and not specified my BASE_URL in the right spot.

Works great now! I knew if I looked hard enough, I'd find the problem.

Hi, I have the latest version of the advanced guestbook, and I was wondering it it's possible to either hide, or change the date of an entry (so I can manually import my old guestbook)

Thanks.
Hello,

I've installed de text-file of AP 2.0 on a Windows Nt server.
But It doesn't work ok.
When I log in at poll/admin/ everything is ok .
But then I see things like :
Warning: flock(): supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in d:\www\blabla.nl\www\poll\include\class_session.php on line 50
and :
Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at d:\www\blabla.nl\www\poll\include\class_session.php:47) in d:\www\blabla.nl\www\poll\admin\common.inc.php on line 16
Under it, there is just the normal menu to create new polls etc.
But when I click on it, i've to log in again.....
Please help !
Thanks !
Patrick
Hello,

I want to install Advanced Poll, but there are a few problems :
I want to give them some rights, like 777 etc. with FTP. But I can't do that because it's a windows server. So what should I do ?

Or is there a special windows version of Advanced Poll?

Hope to hear of you soon !

Patrick
