Hey, my AGB v. 2.3.1 won't post entries. WHen you hit add entry it returns you to a blank forum to sign the guestbook. It wont preview it either! can someone help me? url is http://cousinunjust.freecoolpage.com/guestbook/index.php For admin. the username and password is Test/123. Any one have any ideas?

I needed to install a separate guestbook in a sub.domain of mine, and had the same difficulty with the "original" guestbook info showing up. What I did, and seemed to work fine, was to create a new sql db with different database file names and username, and renamed the newguestbook to guestbook2. Everything slid into place and came up and running slcker 'n snot!

Can anyone help? I want to download the newsgroups from 213.56.195.71 but after about 13.000 groups Outlook Express shuts down and none of the alt. groups has been downloaded. What the hell is going wrong - or do you know a free newsserver that gives me the alt. groups?

Could you give me an example of what the base directory path should look like?

I get an errormessage on Guestbook 1.5 when im trying to set it up. My problem are that I can't understand what I am doing wrong.

The errormessage says :

Guestbook - error
The directory /home/sam-design/mainwebsite_html/kjetil requires 777!

Has changed it to 777 ... but I still get the error message. Guess that the problem are that it can't open guest_id.txt, but i am empty on ideas for what can be wrong now

Please, help me out here if possible. And yes, i am a newbie on this ... so a LOL is ok if this is a stupid question

IP-Sperre funktioniert, bin ratlos. Kennt sich jemand mit solchen unlauteren Mitteln aus und weiß, was man evtl. noch dagegen tun kann?

This is a file locking problem when two users vote at the same time.

Ok I've set upa a pool. Everything is ql for about a week. Then the pool simpley dissapired from my site. So i went to admin pannel... And look what i've found:

I dunno why this is happening (twice). Nobody else has acces to my server. And i cant even re-enable the pool!!!! I lost all votes!!

it's the path from the server root.
