I installed everything for the advanced guestbook, but when I go to the log-in page for the FIRST time, it says that my username or password is invalid, even before I typed in anything... and then when I try to use test and 123, it says it's wrong.

Hey im having a problem with Advanced Guestbook.

It seems that my php version on my host is 4.0.0 , and there is a code called :

But the problem is that the version of php 4.0.0 doesn't support the code php_sapi_name() , and my question is is there any other way i can write this down using an other function?? Or are these lines of codes realy nessesary ?

netscape is allowing all my admin style changes, except for text size and text color. is there some workaround / manipulation that would allow me to force netscape into recognizing my font preferences?

Hey, i have installed poll before, and it worked fine, but i switched hosts and then had to reinstall it again, and it installs fine, but now when i goto the admin to try to login for the first time, i get a blank page (http://www.ibetas.net/poll/admin/)

Den Verzeichnissen tmp und public habe ich chmod 777 gegeben, daran kann es also nicht liegen... und ich habe auch diverse Dateiformate getestet...

Ich hab das GB installiert und für meine Bedürfnisse zurechtgestückelt. Alles wunderbar, nur wie kann ich die IP-Ban-Funktion nutzen, wenn mir überall nur die Hostadresse angezeigt wird? Die lässt sich schließlich nicht in der Liste der zu sperrenden Nummern eintragen.

In Beispielgästebüchern (Advanced Guestbook) habe ich schon diverse Ausführungen in einem einzigen GB gesehen. Da stand mal Host, mal eine IP mit "-" Zeichen und mal so wie man es kennt - mit Punkten (255.255.255.255). Was legt fest, wie diese Daten angezeigt werden?

Kann ich eine Anzeige der IP mit dem Format ###.###.###.### erzwingen oder parallel anzeigen lassen, indem ich irgendwo im Script was ändere? Mir würde das natürlich für den Punkt "Easy Admin" vollkommen reichen, im GB selbst verstecke ich diese Angaben sowieso.

Oder wie kann ich sonst auf die IP eines Eintrags kommen, so dass ich sie gegebenenfalls sperren kann??

Never mind... I found my problem. There's like a million folders I didn't create.

I'm trying to install the Advanced Poll script, but it won't let me. When I go to "http://www.yourURL.com/poll/install.php" I get a blue screen that says "Cannot find configuration file config.inc.php", but the file is there - I've uploaded it twice now and reloaded the page multiple times. What's going on?

Ich finde den Administrationsbereich in FreeLinkPage nicht! In der Beschreibung steht doch, daß man dort einzelne Links löschen kann...
