The poll does not put cookies to the visitors computer. What is wrong
Is it possible to use the advanced poll on a .html page?
hi,
i created a new poll, deleted the default polls, and everything was fine. next day i got to the admin section, and the default polls were back, but the poll i created was gone, although it is still working. so its not gone from the system, but i cannot edit it anymore. i created a second poll, which is displayed in admin section, but not working ( error like "poll id1 does not exist"). when i checked the files on the server i found the chmod i made the day before had been reset to the servers defaults rw-r-r .
would be cool if one you could help me
thank you

PHP StatIt
-> http://www.otterware.de/fileseng.html
go to the admin page and change the base url
Please, add to new version:

1) Screen size: 1280x1024, 1024x768, 800x600, 640x480,...
2) Color depth: 32bit, 24bit, 16bit,...
3) MultiStat (one script for few sites)
4) Statistics to E-mail (weekly)
Hmm, I installed Adv Poll 2 and it seemed to be working fine. Made my own poll and put on page... BAM! It seems to work, using the popup version, but your vote isn't recorded so the # of votes is always 0. And if you try and vote again, it says you already voted.

Oddly, fooling around with it sometimes it did record the vote suddenly... but then when I made the poll I wanted... it didn't again.

Anyone have any ideas that could cause it to not write the vote data to the text file? I don't get any errors or anything. Just no votes counted.

phpAdsNew
I fixed it...

Hi!

Could you help me with type of problem? I have just downloaded a Daily Counter PHP version, and everythings working just fine, but the only thing is the pop-up static page where to keep all visitors IPs and Host adddresses informations is not working right. It wiped out everything and restarting again even during a day everytime I turned my computer off and on. Is something wrong with my configuration. Please help me.

Regards,
I posted a request for help last week, but didn't get any replies. I think we might be having the same problem.

I, too, am embedding the poll in a right column of a table on the page. At times, the poll returns -- other times, it appears to time out -- or has some other type of unknown problem that prevents it from appearing.

I ran your poll at the address below several times, with and without the show=detail parameter. It always worked.

Are you having periodic problems with this? Or, are your problems consistently happening?

Sorry to not have specific advice -- but, I think we might be seeing the same thing.

Thanks for your post.
