Du muss also in der Funktion die Daten aus der Tabelle auslesen und dann zuweisen.
Die Templates solltest du aber auch entsprechend erweitern.

This depends on your server os.
On Windows paths starts with 'drive letter'
e.g.
c:\\programs\\wwwroot\\cgi-bin\guestbook.pl

on unix paths starts with '/'
e.g.
/var/www/html/htdocs/cgi-bin/guestbook.pl

If you are not sure, ask your server admin

Somebody could tell me how to doing wrong?

Hey okay, Im an idiot. I need a laymen's terms of the installation procedue. The readme.txt doesn't explain much except for chmod-ing but doesn't answer questions like, what directory to put it in and what files to put in. The cgi-bin? also I noticed that there are 2 folders a "db" and a "textfile". Both have narly identical files except i can see that the "textfile" folder is bigger. (approx 520 as apposed to approx 300). But please por favor, whatever, I really love this script and I would really appreciate a step-by-step instruction on installation. I know its asking alot but PLEASE!

I don't know WHAT to fill in in the line :# base directory to all guestbook files from the server root without trailing "/" >>$base_dir = "/home/usr/you/book";

Could you say to me why "Free Link Page" run very good but then, if I change something in the page where the links appear and then I upload it, all the links that used to be in this pages are all missing?

Warum sehr kompliziert! Ich muß nur in eine andrer Tabelle gehen und mir die daten dann in den value teil der forms schreiben. Die sache ist wenn ich das probiere klappt es net, denn irgend wie werden die forms in eine andere datei included und die widerum in die addentry und ich weiß net wie das alles zusammen hängt deswegen brauche ich hilfe.
