jupp. das steht schon drinne. hab mir aber nun die poll_cookie.php naeher angeschaut, und gesehen, dass das cookie nur 24h gespeichert wird. ich setz den wert einfach mal auf 2 wochen ^^

hmm i customize my guestbook and find out inside com.php at font tag it missing this for color... when you change color for text everything change exept (comment) just add this in the font tag and you'll be okay!

and the new smilies in Advance Guestbook 2.3 ... don't edit and change the smilies code, because when you change this it doesn't change the java... therefore when you edit to other code the java still insert the old code! smilies will not show up!

I have my Guestbook version 2.2 is running, and I would like to upgrade it into version 2.3. Is anyone can help me? Do I have to upgrade the whole things or I just need to upgrade some certain files?

Make sure that the page your poll is embedded in has the
<?php require "poll_cookie.php"; ?>
tag before anything else.

errr i just install 2.2.1 like a week ago and now yall come out a 2.3 already?

okay here's the question... how do i transfer the existing guestbook to the new guestbook? like an upgrade hehehe... it is possible? or i have to manually edit each one...?

The vlaues for the email and so on are saved in a MYSQL Table.

Uh, James.

That's not really what I meant.
When you install the guestbook, there are 10 smilies which you can use in the guestbook.And when you look in the directory, there are loads of other smilies, which you can give a code in the "smilie" screen. That's exactly what i've done, i gave a number of smilies a code, then i submited them to the list. But if i want to use them in the guestbook, it only shows the code and not the smilies. And if i look in Mysql the new ones are put correctly in the database....

Im "Free Script" Bereich steht, Adv. Poll 2.0 hat "Cookie Support" ... Wie sieht das aus? Die Überprüfung ob ein Besucher schon gevotet hat, kann man doch bei "Einstellungen" aendern. Da gibbet aber nur "Keine Ueberprüfung" und "IP Tabelle" zur Auswahl ... Geht es einzustellen , dass das Script IP und Cookies checken soll?
