You got a URL or can you post whats on those lines???

db is D-ata-B-ase like MySQL
and text file uses files like *.txt

If your going to reintall it or use the textfile version try using the install guide I wrote you can find it in my sig. If you follow that you shouldn't get any errors.

As you may notice the original post says after they vote so this is the results which use the same variable as the question table. If your running a website I would expect you to know some basic HTML and PHP as this poll is written in it and would of thought to just type this in the table tag...

Also you never thought that there might be a table within a table which is what the default template does. so you'll have to change the width on all of them.

If you still can't do it I'll email the templates I use. I have to say they are extremely cut down from the orginals. An example is... original about 50 lines long, and mine about 15 lines long.

Advanced Guestbook the php and MySQL one can be run in loads of different languages but not at the same time I think.

There doesn't seem to be an option where your site visitors could switch it into their language. But you could add this feature some how.

Make sure the user you created is setup properly, consult your host on this.
Also the host may be root rather than localhost again this is someting only your host can tell you.

As they offer MySQL they should of given info on how to create a user or created one for you and told you what the host name is.

Adv. GBook is not my specialist area but you need to find the template file that makes up that particular part of the page, maybe header.tpl or something. Find some code like this...

Then add some more options to the list before this tag </select>.

The point of the menu is when you have a couple of hundred posts people can use that to view posts 80-100 or 1-20 ect...

re-chmod the folder that contains the images to whatever it says in the readme file.

You don't need to specify the action unless you want the poll to go to another page rather than the page the poll is on.

If you installed the poll correctly go into the admin section find the column that says stats and click the icon that looks like a notepad icon that'll bring up the necessary code, you can look at the demo polls, and/or use the last menu option on the far right in the admin section at the top to get the general code you can use to insert polls.
