Hey I didn't write it! I'm just a user like you! Thanks for the compliment though, hope you find an answer.

Have you specified the bar max width in the general settings?
Have you chmod 'ed the config.inc.php file to 666 and the include directory to 755?

Auron
First of all locate the file that stores the username and password. In this case for Adv. Poll its 'include/config.inc.php' open this file, and you'll find your username and password.

The password though will be encrypted. Get a copy of the same file from the orginal zip file that hasn't been modified in any way. Copy the line of numbers and letters from there into your current one.

Then reupload the newly modded file and the password should be reset to what it was originally, for the poll its 'poll'. If you can't login try re-chmod 'ing it and/or reupload the original session.php from the polldata folder and make sure you chmod that when you upload it.

Auron
Add the code it says to add before the html including the cookie_poll.php or whatever it is. This covers people with dynamic IP's. Becuse it cookies that PC so none who uses that PC until the cookie expires can vote. Also make sure there are no white spaces before or after the php code.

How difficult is it to work it out!?!?

Auron
All you need to do is find the full server path to the file you want to include and then copy that to all the files you need it in. With using the full server path to it you can't go wrong it will always find the right script.

Auron
You've got to change the path for each page so it points to the CORRECT location. It will be different between folders/directories but the same within those folders/directories.

Auron
No probs!

I know its for adv gbook but its the same principle. Try using the forums search button first.

I have no idea. But the normal permissions without doing anything to it is 644 maybe when you changed your username the session id and stuff inside it got screwed up coz its happened to me.

644 chmod ::

Owner; read + write
Group and Public; read

666 chmod ::

Owner, Group and Public; read + write

Meaning before you log in it will be able to write the new session id/number to the file. After your logged you are recognised as the owner I think.

try that.

Auron
Have you chmod 'ed session.php to 666 coz thats part of the login and that keeps you logged in.

Oh, he posted over at spisas I haven't been there in a while as you can see I've been here helping out. Since I wrote those 2 manuals / guides no one seems to post here any more.
