It's completely cool that you can help people remove the posts that do the redirect. But, I have to ask, how the heck do you get in to delete them?? Could you just go to my guestbook and log in at will?
My guestbook was hacked this week, and my hosting provider deleted the offending post for me. But tonight I went to log into my cpanel (and also tried to FTP), and my password no longer works! Would this hacker have been able to do that??
Just curious, and naieve!

I believe I did. Anyway a big thank you to Steve2 who emailed his working amended, files from the Verification MOD, which with a minor modification for my own background option, I now have it working fine with no more spammers. Thanks again Steve.

You people are amazing! If it's such a lousy program, why are you using it? So basically what you're saying is like if you go to the store and the clerk isn't behind the counter, it's okay to steal the candybar. If you expect credit, compensation, whatever for what you've done, then you shouldn't volunteer. You can make whatever excuses you want, but ET is right. You ought to at least have a little respect.

Thanx for all your advice guys!
I have cracked it now! Just onto the problem of not being able to administer it! It doesn't like my username and password!

Infact, this is exactly where I get to:
Advanced Guestbook
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tables were created successfully!
Your selected database: tspgbdb
Your MySQL host: tspgbdb
Your MySQL username: tspgb
Click now here to setup the guestbook admin...
After clicking the link, I get the error as mentioned above.

well, I created a username and password from my site's control panel and supplied it to the install.php as suggest. If I'm not mistaken, the documentation supplied with the project suggests using either install.php or by editing the config.inc.php.
This error is happening after the installation and the table has been created.
