I recently saw a video showing a spamming program that could read the CAPTCHA on forums such as phpBB, IPB etc. They use the program to sign up and post spam. The video also hinted that it could do guestbooks.

You would have to edit the header.php and footer.php files or use Lazarus.

Just enter them as you would enter a normal entry. You will need phpmyadmin to change the dates though.
