I have the same problem as ukkpower....if I change the file extension to .php, the poll displays correctly.

BUT, since I want to place this poll within a .html page and be able to alter its location from time to time, how can you do this?

I need to keep it as html as it is part of articles live php script. I would have to recode all that if I did.

I wouldnt be that expeirenced to do it.

My webhost, liquidweb, uses Fantastico to auto-install Advanced Poll.

I've installed twice.

I made a simple poll "What is your favorite color?" with 4 color options.
All that shows on the sample page is:

poll_process(4); ?>

When I Preview the poll in Admin, I see it perfectly.

What am I doing wrong? I do have the code above the HTML.

Hello this poll is exelent and finaly i have it on my site. The poll is working but when i load my page i get error message on top of my page:

How can i display posted comments with POLL PHP TEXTFILE ?

So what i do:
I make the poll and than i take a look at the pollcode on the demo3 site (http://www.../poll/demo_3.php) I copy that code to my site

Then i get the poll but the error (Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class polldb_sql in /../public_html/poll/include/class_mysql.php on line 10

After voting this comes up:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/fireball/public_html/poll/test.php:2) in /home/fireball/public_html/poll/poll_cookie.php on line 21

And what should I do when I want to add the poll to my index page? Wich folders do i have to change in the code?

I signed in before....changed my email address and now cannot log in at all. Tried to retrieve password and it says my account is inactive contact an admininstrator. But the beauty is you cannot contact anyone in any other way but this without logging in!! I tried PM'ing or emailing so how do I get access to my account? I do not want to put personal information in a post. Does this not seem pointless? Please help. All I can say is my username is kittyslave. And I was logged in about 5 minutes ago.
