Why you want a password on a guestbook?
If you want to have separated guest books, I believe it's safer to make a new DB for each guest book.
It uses the same mail setup as the mail youre userers receive.
Mabey a stupid question, but you haven''t made a typo with your own e-mail adres?
Just run install.php and of you go.
Did you put the correct path to sendmail or smtp in your php.ini file?
Looks like you're MySQl database isn't setup right.
Try setting it up with the standard settings from the script.
What's the error you get.
Just copie the mySQL database, it worked for me.
You can't register as Admin.
Wich program?
If you wanna login as admin for the guestbook then

The default admin account for the guestbook is:

Username : test
Password : 123
Well I made some new forms expended the database and the entry form, but when I add an entry I don't see the extra fields I made.

Somebody got an idea?
You’re welcome, but where is the fun if I tell you everything
There are a couple of program's you can use:

Idigomail
windmail
Sendmail

and I'm not sure (didn't try it myself)

blat.exe
NTsendmail

Try a searchengine and you will find it.
Look in the directory lang/norwegian.php
This is the language file
The link for converting the time to Unix has a little bug it ads 2 hours to the time your insert.
Thus 12:00 becomes 14:00 (at least I had this Problem )
That's not a bad idea at all.
I will take a look at it, and see if I can add it.
