That line tells the server to send .html files to the PHP Processor the same as PHP files.

The page you want to display the poll on has to use the .php extension and not .htm nor .html.

If you have email notification turned on then you will be able to tell as the Lazarus notification email contains more information about the post than the Advanced Guestbook email. You could also tell by looking at the headers of the emails.

You wouldn't have to install it. Lazarus can be used as an upgrade to AG (OK I shouldn't say upgrade). It's just a case of download Lazarus. Copy the database information from config.inc.php of AG to the config.inc.php of Lazarus. Upload Lazarus along with either agupdate.php or smartupdater.php then run said file by visiting it in your web browser. And thats it.
Lazarus features both of your requests, require admins approval before posts appear and it also support Skype, MSN and Yahoo mesengers.

Have a look at Lazarus.
Your signature makes no sense since you do not have a link to your site.

Well there are 86400000 milliseconds in the day so yeah would soon be needing really long numbers.

Number of seconds since midnight January 1st 1970 I believe. Or rather at 1 second past midnight on the morning on January 1 1970 the timestamp would of been 1.

Download 2.4.1 from this site and extract from the zip. Copy the database information from your current config.inc.php file to the 2.4.1 config.inc.php file. Upload the 2.4.1 folder to your site then run the update_db.php file found in the misc folder of 2.4.1. That should be it.

Update to 2.4.1. There were some known problems in 2.3.3.
