Hi I write from venezuela
For 2 days my Advanced Guestbook 2.3.1 have been changed by the following emergent window with a message contrary to the objective of the book. what I can please make.
Thank you...
i have the same problem... i want use this for my site too, but it will mess up the whole layout of my site. if you find out how to do it please email me with the answer. i try looking for on of the php templete files, but i don't know enougth about php code to know what i am looking at. thanks for the post.. email info@gallery808.com thanks G808
I'm trying to configure poll with postgresql and generally everyything is ok, except small bugs - in file class_pgsql.php line
$query_strg = eregi_replace("limit ([0-9]+),([ 0-9]+)", "limit \\2, \\1", $query_strg);

should be replaced with:
$query_strg = eregi_replace("limit ([0-9]+),([ 0-9]+)", "limit \\2 offset \\1", $query_strg);

because of syntax of postgresql query.
But I have a second bug - when I'm clicking on poll (for example Demo1->Advanced poll) without previously selecting any item I've got an error:
Error : Query Error
Message : ERROR: invalid input syntax for integer: ""

Is here anybody who knows the solution?
Hi guys,

My poll is working fine, it's a very easy to use poll.
I saw that by using the admin function you can adjust the table width.
But that is only the table width from the header. How can i change the table width of the whole poll? Because when i put the poll into a table of my site, the whole table will increase, and my lay-out is messed up.

I tried to look in de database by using phpadmin, i found out i could change some thing there. But not the table width of the main table.

Also the script is using some var. which direct to a poll_view.html wich is not included in my template folder. Maybe that's why?

I really want to start using it, but i can't insert it into my website like this, the whole lay-out of the site will be messed up.
On this website i saw that the have the same poll and it is not very width so it must be possible.

Thanks,

Tim (sorry about my English)

We have all the help we need.
Is this true that i must only for the update from 2.2 to 2.3.1.
Update with "db_update_v22-23.sql" the Database and copy the hole folder?

Thanks in advance

Wow thanks. It worked really well.
You can try making backup copies of all the files, and experiment making changes until you get the desired result.

Write down what you do so that you can undo it, or redo it later. You have backup copies in case you hose it all up. I learned a lot about how to tweak things with the guestbook this way.

Also, you can search through the forums and probably find the answer to your exact problem. It takes time, but it is better than waiting for a reply to your post, especially if someone has already asked the same question.

Good luck.

hello Dear admin and members!

i want to know how could i make the size od date smaller
fixed it.... I dunno what the dillio was, but I just re uploaded all the files except for the config... and it was golden
For some reason, ALL the links are pointing to the ADMIN.php file in the ADMIN directory... but the ADMIN file doesn't live there. I tried putting it there, but it caused too many other problems.

I don't know what I might have done to make it think it lives there, but I can't find it to change it back.

example:
the link on the page shows this:

http://chrismoniz.com/guestbook/admin/admin.php?action=settings&panel=style&session=88036f322eaa5d83eb183b76ca8a2bc9&uid=1

but it actually should be this:

http://chrismoniz.com/guestbook/admin.php?action=settings&panel=style&session=88036f322eaa5d83eb183b76ca8a2bc9&uid=1

Any thoughts anyone?

Thanks
I would like to place a link on the guestbook page that takes the visitor back to my home page. Can this be done? and if so how? please
Thanks so much for any help
