I've been wondering if there was some way to make the gbook.gif header on the advanced guestbook version 2.3.1 larger? Currently its at 140x15... but frankly, that just isn't big enough. Any suggestions, or ideas?

I tried creating a poll. I do see three sets of html - head - loop and foot. do I copy all three to a web page? I tried this but I don't see the poll - it looks weird. What am I doing wrong?

Hey Carbonize,

I realized that I had modified without allowing myself CHMOD allowance. Once I changed the CHMOD, I was able to save the mod, then go back and re-establish the CHMOD permissions.

ok...it doesn't work. i'm using pages that use .ihtml and the poll is included into one of these pages. the main page of the site is index.php which contains all info that includes: header,"current page", and footer.

the poll is in one of the "current" pages.

what do i do now? when i click on vote it goes to the index page and doesnt show any results.

I have some problem with pool script. When i've already install the poll and go to the admin panel-->templates and i want to change template or view one of the templates i get:

I've been setting up a forum that I'm planning on using for a new Survivor related web site I'm designing.

I have a question regarding the guestbook. I want to use the forum to play a Survivor-based game.

Is there a way to prohibit two groups (each tribe) from being able to send IM's to persons of the other group (tribe)? Or, is there a way to prohibit individuals from sending IM's to other individuals?

I'm trying to eliminate the possiblity of members of opposite tribes being able to communicate with each other prior to a "merge" without removing IM capabilities all together.

Any help would be greatly appeciated.

I tried all the solution but could not access the admin page. it kept telling me "Invalid username or password. Please try again"

I have resetted the user and password in book_auth but still it does not allow me to admin panel

I have used the advanced guestbook in two different sites now, and ahve never been able to get the picture function to work.

is there someone who could tell me how to set it up? i imagine there is something i set up wrong in the "admin/config.inc.php" file.

if someone could give brief directions and an explanation on how to fix my problem, it would be much appreciated.
