Hmm, come to think of it, that does sound easier. I am familiar with HTML, and I guess the complexity of your guestbook scared me from the PHP side of it!

Thanks for your advice, and for writing the code.
Is is possible to change the id of polls.Or does it have to keep increasing?
Make a php page with the following syntax

I think thats it. If not try:

Hi, I tried to search for this answer but it didn't come up, so sorry for the wasted space!

I am modifying this guestbook into a signup form for a dodgeball league I am starting up. I already made it make all entries private by default, but I would like to add my own fields, like phone number, and a radio button or checkboxes for certain other things.

What files would I have to edit in order to add my own fields and have them show up under the "private" section?

If it's not obvious, I'm new to PHP and MySQL but not programming in general. Thanks for your time!
Resolved! Now it seems to be working. Never mind.
Hello, we have tested and configured the AGB for a while and now we want to go public. I renamed the folder to what it is supposed to be called and changed the path in config.inc.php accordingly. However, now when I try to post an entry, I'm taken to my error page.

What else do we have to change to make it work, did we miss other files which contain paths?

Thanks in advance.
OK, I have setup I live example for you to see.

These are working links:

The poll will work from here: http://advancedpollerror.no-ip.info/mysite/index.php

But it will NOT work from here:
http://advancedpollerror.no-ip.info/mysite/

(FYI: Advanced Poll has been installed to http://advancedpollerror.no-ip.info/mysite/poll and the general URL settings are correct.)
Hey guys,

Somewhere along the way with encrypting and fixing the missing email assignment issue and correcting my pic path, I lost my encryption.

I checked the files that I use and found nothing out of place. Can you guys check it out? I'm stumped.

Thanks,
Johnny
thank you mam!

its now fully working!

God Bless!

oh man.
that script isn't soo bad, but the configuration is the most stupid i've ever seen!

i'm using popup template. just like in demo1-third pool. everything is OK so far. when i click at VIEW RESULTS - results are opened in popup. question is: how to show comments in that popup, below results???

don't tell me about that bullshit texts like demo 2. there is a example with comments below results, SO WHAT ? i've got some scripts on left, SO WHAT? tell me HOW should i use them? and where? i put that shit into admin panel, popup template, and i got only some errors

am sorry mam!

i thought it was already working, but as i was test-running it, it still wont show the page after i clicked submit...ive checked the permissions and set it to 777 (both public and tmp folders)

by the way, thank you for the suggestion of integrating my banner in the guestbook.

again, sorry! please help me on this!

God Bless!

Php is designed to load the results into the same page it was ordered from.
well AURON - I had looked through the support forum for this topic and did not find it. I didn't think to look in General Discussion. I APOLOGIZE that I did not immediately find it as I am NEW to this forum.

Thank you to Carbonize for answering my question...it is greatly appreciated.
Hi,

short question. I´m running Advanced Guestbook 2.2. I like to make a update to 2.3.1, will it keep the mySQL database or destroy it?
