It seems that the browser icon displayed in a comment in Advanced Guestbook 2.3.1 (which is working very nicely, thank you, at http://maloneandhutch.com/avg/ ) only shows an icon for Internet Explorer.
A search of the /img directory shows "browser.gif" which is the IE icon. It seems like the purpose of displaying this icon would be to show what browser the commenter is using. If it only shows IE, no matter what, then what's the point? is there some fairly simple modification that will enable display of the shiny red O for Opera, or the fox hugging the world for Firefox?

Thank you that worked! Is there a way to change the username, or do I have to do that in the sql database?
Thanks again!

Couldn't I just unzip the files in a new location and compare them with my current installation?

I experienced the same problem. I found a workaround:
Edit the table poll_config directly in your database. Change YOURLANGUAGE.php back to english.php

What do you mean by this? I've tried to upload several different types of .jpg's on several different occasions. I invite you to come to the guestbook to try it and experience what I am experiencing.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Too bad this wasn't like the Citrix forum where you could be awarded points for helping others!

Can you tell me how to change the username and password for the Advanced Guestbook? Every time I try to change it, it says "password doesn't match".
Thanks for any help!

Nope. I'm using PHP 4.3.9.
When I go to sign the guestbook with a picture, it just signs my post and doesn't display the picture.
If I go to preview the post instead, it at least has the outline of the image there.
If I click on the image I get this text.
Notice: Undefined variable: size in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\sweetsiren\guestbook\picture.php on line 34
The guestbook in question is at www.sweetsiren.com

Hi there,
i'm using this great poll, works fine. The only thing in need badly is that i want to show results only after X votes ('X' = a number like 20). But i can't find out what to change to get this.
Anyone??

Right. The only arguments allowed are newest, random and x (x=poll_ic)
It would be great to have another argument to select a list range.

I can't upload a picture to the guestbook when I sign it. I get an error saying "undefined variable in line 34" it then lists a path to my picture.php file. Any ideas?

I must reformulate my question. My concern regards to templates and customization not just results. In other words what files (folders) should be saved.
