I believe that a new item was added to form.php in version 2.3.3 so you will have to add that.
Download 2.3.4 and replace all your existing files except admin/config.inc.php
Ok which version of the guestbook are you using? If it is 2.3.4 it may be worth redownloading the full package again and replacing the add.class.php file in the lib folder and trying a preview entry again.
Just fill in the form and click preview.
hmmmmmmmm. Do a test entry and just preview it. Do you see the IP in it ?
At the top of that page you will see a tab called Browse (or the Polish ? equivalant). Click that and it will show the actual data stored in the tables.
Log into phpMyAdmin and goto book_data. Click browse then look in the host column.

There are several threads about this as are listed in the READ THIS BEFORE POSTING ANY QUESTIONS thread.

1 - No 2.3.1 is not secure and has a couple of exploits.

2 - The upgrade would fix these exploits. Also if you are using 2.3.4 you can download my prepatched files to add the anit bot test.

3 - Lazarus is a fork or offshoot of Advanced Guestbook and is my work not the work of Chi Kien Uong although it is based upon his work. Lazarus adds a lot of new features including three layers of spam protection.
When youo go into easy admin can you see the IP then ?
1 - update to 2.3.4 by downloading the full package from this site and replacing all but the config.inc.php file. This patches a couple of exploits. It does mean you will have to edit the templates again though.

2 - I believe the error lies in either addentry.php or add.class.php. Goto www.carbonize.co.uk/AG and have a look at the pre modded files I put there.
That link doesn't work. Anyway by DOES NOT SHOW do you mean the ip/hostname does not appear in posts when you have set them to be shown in General Settings?
