there is already a thread on adding email as a required field.
Sorry was thinking of something else. Anyway some spammers have already bypassed the simple anti spam method so I recommend the Human Verification mod listed at the top of the Advanced Guestbook forum.
I had the same moron try it on my guestbook at the same time and I'm not even using Advanced Guestbook which proves what a moron they are. You don't really have to update to 2.3.3 as patchng the exploit is simple.

Open lib/add.class.php and find

or it may be

replace it with
you followed the instructions for setting the base_url a bit to closely
change it to http and not htpp
Same as for 2.3.2 at a glance.
Adding the Human Verification is simple enough to do.
Nope.
Wow would of been easier installing Lazarus lol
addentry.php is in the root of the guestbook folders. Meaning it is one of the files you see when you first go into the guestbook folder. add.class.php is in the lib folder.
Use phpMyAdmin to EXPORT the current database then open the file in a text editor and copy the information into the text area you get in phpMyAdmin when you click the SQL tab.
This is why you should update to 2.3.3
Did either of you even bother to look at the other threads in this forum? Specially the first thread which is titled Adding a simple human verification test.
The error message says it all. No such file or directory. It's saying it cannot find add.class.php in the lib folder.
I may be wrong but I'm guessing only addentry.php, index.php, lib/add.class.php and templates/form.php aer the only files that were changed but don't hold me to that.
Well if you replaced ALL the files (mainly form.php, addentry.php and add.class.php) and you are still getting this then all I can think of is that the problem lies in the new timehash anti spam feature that was added in 2.3.3. I'll write a mod on disabling it.
