Turns out it WAS a templating issue .. the guy that built the site before I took on the maintenance of it had specified the plain template in the poll.php file when I had been using the default template in the admin settings. The preview was showing just the way it was supposed to but on the page it was integrated with, it didn't.

For Advaned Poll 2.0.3 using SQL

I have the poll on a host with SQL. I use PHP include on an external site to display the poll but I guess I have to edit the poll so the redirect (after voting) goes to the external site because currently it tries to load the page on the site where its installed.

Is this possible and if so can anybody tell me what to edit?

Hi,
There will be 1 install of the files.
When the form is passed it would have a hidden field for listingID.
So the script would work as normal except the extra field listingID.
The when viewed on the users page, you can have something like
gb.php?listingID=1
then for all rows with 1, it prints the guestbook out.

In the members area, they should have access to edit only there own guestbook entries.

Ok, thats fine.

Your instructions are simple. I missed out a dot when changing one of the codes yesterday and as you can imagine i got an error messages, so i think it's just one of those things that can happen.

English is not my mother language, so it's always a little harder for me to add any kind of code to my site as their are sometimes wordes in the instructions I have never heard of.

But I did manage to add your code alright (after a few goes lol)

What I was interested in was that you had your own "Header" and "Footer" to keep the verifacation script from putting the code in the form and also on the bottom of the form.( http://www.thewarehouseofink.com/84th/guestbook/addentry.php )in the script I have it calls for another snippet of code at the bottom of the addentry.php to cure this problem.You seem to have done it some other way !
Could you send me a copy of your "verify.php" and "verifyimage.php".You might have another type of code that I don't have that solves my problem.
