I did set the permissions according to the instructions in the readme.txt file. However, I went ahead and re-uploaded the files again and set permissions again, and it still is not changing the table background color.

In the general settings, I'm giving it the hex codes for white text on a black background and a black frame. The text changes color, but the frame and background do not.

I'm going to see if there is a style sheet that is overriding the values I'm setting in the general settings, but beyond that, I dont have any idea as to how to solve this dilemma.

Need some help with configuring Advanced GB 2.31 - I can create the tables successfully using install.php. It gives me this:

I have dropped the tables and reinstalled at least 3 different times, and the error always manifests itself when trying to config the guestbook. It looks like the script is changing the values for the database and the host.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I just up load the Adv GB to the free plan of http://www.100webspace.com/freeplan.html, and creat the database successfully. However, I got the mysql_connect error, what is wrong. Please give a hand, thanks a lot!

Hi,

I just did an upgrade of Advanced Poll because the version we had installed was missing some files. Anyway, I got the poll up and its working ok as far as I can see. However, I am needing to change the background color and the border colors and the general settings page does not change them accordingly whenever I set the values there. It did change the font color though.

Any ideas on how I can fix this problem?

ok, I did manage to solve some of my questions. but still i have no cleu why the images are not displaying in the guestbook. the url to the image is correct (htpp://www.arubasource.com/modules/Guestbook/img/signing.gif) but it still does not show. Help please?

2. When someone replies to a comment, it shows the 'name' of the person ('xx:'), I would like it to show ("xx's reply:"). Where can I edit this?
3. How do I change the backgroundcolor of the reply?

i managed to change this in templates/form.php (add code @ line 61)(between </script> & </style>

I have now installed the verification mod on my guestbook and I think it is ok.
