I'm having a problem with Advanced Poll, I'm not sure what's wrong. I have a website with a lot of pages, I use php includes, so every page ends with php. In the footer file, I have the poll, so that it is viewed on every single page. The problem is I have just put a lot of the pages in sub-folders and the poll isn't working on those pages. It appears on those pages, but acts as if I haven't voted, even though I know I have and when I click to view results, I get a page not found error.

So my site is kind of like this:

footer.php - poll code is in this file and rest of files have php include to include the footer.php

index.php - poll appears and works fine
links.php - poll appears and works fine
^^ all the pages in levels like those, the poll works fine

But then I have pages that look like this:

xxx.net/screencaps/xxx/xxx.php - poll appears but acts as if I haven't voted and get a page not found error when clicking on view results.

Does anyone have any advice as to what may be wrong?

I had installed at my website an Advanced Guestbook version 2.2.
I have now downloaded to my computer the updated version 2.3.1 for the Guestbook. The download comes as Zip file. I have unzipped the files but I don't know how to update the Guestbook to the latest version. I use Front Page 2003 for my website construction. Can anybody "walk me through" the process of updating my Guestbook to the latest version script. Thanks so much for your help.

Die Banken hatten keine Ahnung, alles wurde ja vom obersten Chef persönlich getätigt, einem Amerikaner. Unser Ruf wurde beschädigt dank ein paar Linke Idioten!

It's right after the SIGN THE GUESTBOOK line at the top of the addentry.html table.

It needs:
<input type="hidden" name="add" value="new">

BTW this posting applies to the basic 1.5 Guestbook.

can some one please help me iv scanned the download files that i want to count im just stuck on how To confiqure the script below so that the script starts counting the amount of time it has been downloaded

i wasn't getting any warnings, my icons are just not appearing, and now i can't seem to get the right poll template to appear in the demo pages!

My problem is this:

I have figured out where I need to go in the "body" template to make my changes. But it won't let me. It says I need to give the webserver permissions? How do I do THAT?? I looked around my Cpanel but can't figure out what to change and what I need to change it TO!
