The @ and . are converted to them to prevent posters email addresses being harvested for spamming purposes. If it bothers you simply open up add.class.php and look for (at) and (dot) and replace them with @ and .

At present it is not possible to make the post with the latest comments appear at the top. As to the other issue that item about the auto linking of URL's has never been correct but I may consider adding it and have it work ONLY if you have allowed the URL agcode.
ps. Please use the forums at www.carbonize.co.uk/Board for Lazarus questions as while it is based upon the Advanced Guestbook it is a seperate entity.

All hail the mighty wysiwyg editor. Anyway one you have finished your pages use a text editor to add the code to the top. I recommend PSPad.

The cmhod of the actual image files is irrelevant. Only the folder needs to be 777. Can you please provide a link to your guestbook or email it to me usinig the EMAIL link below (not the msn link).

open up lib/gb.class.php and do a search for [at] and [dot] and simply replace the relevant text with the image link.

Email them. I'm sure they will speak English.

Ah well in that case you will need to speak to the people who converted the guestbook to work with phpBB as they have altered it.

This has been discussed before. If you are talking about php nuke then there was a code snippet posted somewhere to make a scroller for last five entries or something.

Tried redownloading it and uploading it again ?

Where did you get your copy from? Did your host provide it? Anyway just download 2.3.2, edit the config.inc.php file to reflect the MySQL settings in your current one and then replace your entire guestbook with the new files. As the entries and settings are in the database these will not be affected.

unfortunately 1.5 is written in Perl where as 2.2 and 2.3.x are written in PHP.

Not with 2.3.2 it shouldn't be.
