Hallo Leute,

haben mir den FreeLink von Euch eingebaut und habe ein Probl. mit dem Adminbereich.

Nach der eingabe des Passwortes werde ich auf eine Seite redirected mit der Fehlermeldung : 'Seite kann nicht angezeigt werden'

Hat allerdings auch einen 'komischen' Url: http://localhost/cgi-bin/links.pl

Was mache ich da Falsch?
Habe versucht im Script dieser Url:http://localhost/cgi-bin/links.pl zu finden, leider komme ich da nicht weiter!

Könnt Ihr bitte mir helfen?

Have the bug been fixed?

Created a database in MySql with a username and password. Added that information to the config include file.

When running install.php, I still get a message at the top of the window that says:
Warning: Failed opening './include/' for inclusion include_path='.;sys:/php/includes') in sys:/apache/nwdocs/poll/install.php on line 35

In the wizard window the following message appears:
Some tables are not defined. Please check the configuration file.

Trying to access the admin directory results in the following error:
Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in sys:/apache/nwdocs/poll/admin/common.inc.php on line 10

Fatal error: Failed opening required '../include/config.inc.php' (include_path='.;sys:/php/includes') in sys:/apache/nwdocs/poll/admin/common.inc.php on line 10

Where is the installation going wrong?

Hi, first off, love the advanced guestbook, very nice script. Works great and all but having trouble with the password config. Originally was done up with a default pass my host sets up along with, but now I've changed it, went into db settings and changed that as well, and in admin.config.php and still not considered valid pass. What file do I specifically need to alter for this?

- setup a database with a username to access to the database
- then edit the file call config.inc.php found in folder "include

Every time I pasted the snippet provided with the program the only thing showing in the page are the words on the code. Shows everything after the sing -> for instance on this snippet...<?php

echo $php_poll->poll_process(4); ?> ....shows on the page ->poll_process(4);?>
