Hatte auch das Problem.
Man kann nun (so man kann) den Eintrag in der Datenbank von Hand vornehmen.
Für die Anderen habe ich was gefunden:

Da gibt's eine Datei namens guestbook_config.zip, welche die /mod/guestbook/conf/*.php Dateien enthält.
Diese nun vor der Installation ersetzen. Dann 'Boost' - Fertig.
Danach klappt's auch in Deutsch.

Erklärung:
Die original Konfiguration sieht keinen Beschreibungdtext vor,
Das Controlpanel versucht nun einen dynamischen Eintrag in die Übersetzungstabellen zu machen, bekommt aber den leeren Eintrag (NULL) mit Übersetzung ? nicht hin.....

How do you know which text to edit? I see the jump menu code, but it's hard to distinguish where to put the url info to make it go back to my homepage.....instead of "remain".

Cookies!

When you vote a cookie is placed on your computer (I think it's valid for 24 hours - not sure).

To vote again delete the cookie - in IE go to Tools / Internet Options / Delete Cookies. This deletes all of them. If you only want to delete the cookie for the Poll then find the cookie in the Cookies folder - it will be called xxx@v3 (xxx being the computer user name). It will also be in your temporary internet files with the same name.

I've just voted twice on your site but had to kill the cookie before being able to vote the second time.

If you don't want cookies at all then block them - Tools / Internet Options / Privacy / Advanced / Override... then check the boxes to allow, prompt or block.

Not familiar with Poll but you should be able to fiddle about and set it so as to not place a cookie at all or to shorten (or lengthen) it's life.

How to show last poll results with "view_poll_result"?

This don't work:

"newest" only work with: echo $php_poll->poll_process("newest");

How can I do it?
