The usual problem of whitespace in the config file. Check you have no spaces after the closing ?> in the config.inc.php.
Look in the folder called templates
And then change them via the password page of the admin section.
Christmas Paganism? care to explain that one?
I am working on a routine for the guestbook to have the 12 smilies on the addentry page be the first 12 smilies that you have in the database.
I wont tell you my opinions of Yahoo in general let alone Geocities which is technically who hosts your sites.
It means to set the CHMOD. You will need to read the manual for your FTP client or Cpanel to see how to do it.
On the Sign The Guestbook page click the link below the smilies called Show legend.
It would be simple to faux integrate the guestbook with both sites that you posted. it would just be a case of copying the relevant HTML into the header.php and foooter.php files.

For now you may want to change the background colour of the guestbook on milfordgrandprix as it makes the text and links hard to read. Also yo umay wish to change the top left image, the one that says Guestbook as it looks terrible if the background is anything but white.
phpMyAdmin.
You need to edit lib/gb.class.php. Open it up and look forthis is what turns the answer into the relevant images. If you don't know PHP it basically says if you are allowing them to specify a gender then check what ender they submitted. if gender is f (female) then make $gender the female image else make it the male image.
You need to place th esmilies in the img folder and then goto the smilies sectin of the admin and click rescan at the bottom. Then pt n the codes to post them and the alternative text desription.
I did email Chi Kien Uong asking to make me an moderator. I then got an email about someone joining my group? from him but no moderator status. Think it would require Admin to make new forums.
Ok if you downloaded it from this site and installed it as per the instructions then th eonly problem I can see must be with your MySQL server.
My advice is use a .htaccess redirect. I once used alxnet's guestbook but the url format leaves it open to easy spamming. They use the same url but just change the number for each user. All a spammer has to do is a make a program submit their post and increase the number by 1 every time. o prevent spamming on 2.3.1 have a look at my image verification mod.
