Hallo,

habe phpwebsite 0.9.3-1 + adv. gb 2.3.1 installiert. Das GB funktioniert auch jedoch bekomme ich eine Fehlermeldung wenn ich mich als Admin anmelde und auf "Kontrolpanel" in phpwebsite klicke.

unknown error

jedenfalls ist somit nichts mehr administrierbar.

Anscheinend gibt es Probleme weil ich als default language alles auf deutsch gestellt ist.

Könnt ihr mir weiterhelfen wo ich nach dem fehler suchen soll bzw. was der grund für diese Fehlermeldung ist?

I´ve just installed the Advanced poll an set up a Vote. I voted once and it worked just fine.

But now i can´t vote no more, i tried it with my computer at work and with a friends computer. But he just shows me the stats, not the vote option.

Ich hab mir mal den Advanced Poll installiert und konnte auch anfänglich eine Stimme abgeben.
Aber nu kann ich egal auf welchem Rechner, ob auf Arbeit oder bei Freunden, keine Stimme mehr abgeben. Es wird immer das Ergebnis gezeigt.
Was hab ich da falsch eingestellt ?!

Well, I just got online and double checked my permissions, but it's all good -- even gave it a run at 777 for the helluvit.

One thought came to mind... I notice that in addentry.php, there is a call made to the includes such as config.inc.php, etc., but I notice that on the page I tried to borrow from your guestbook (index.php), I do not see any such includes... am I missing something or is that normal?

The reason I suspect that is because my page loads with variable names printed verywhere....

Well, I tried that.... but it doesn't seem to load my settings, colors, etc., nor does it seem to load my messages...

I am pretty sure that it was the only thing touched....

Is there something specific I should do to get it to pick up the messages, etc?

I´m using the Guestbook on my site, and i was wondering if there are a swedish language-file for it. I´m swedish, and all of my visitors are swedish.

I visit your site your main problem is not left align but your problem is Setting of table width as I study your guestbook pages source code I found table width 200 so i think thats the main problem.
Soloution:go to your guest book admin and then select style
from the Top menu now there you can see in the 2nd row table width its show 200 change it to 100% dont forget the % sign now from the bottom of the page click on "submit settings" now go back to your guest book and refresh the page.

Hi all,

I have been running Advanced Guestbook for a number of months now with no problems -- unfortunately, last night, some yo-yo got into my server and replaced index.php with his salute to terrorism.

I thought that the correct procedure would be to paste the templates together to make a new index.php, so I put the Header, Body, Footer templates together and saved it, but that didn't turn out so good... I got my header, but nothing else worked, it showed the Javascript Variables instead of the guestbook entries, etc.

I know from looking at the Admin that all of the message appear to still be there.

How do I recover from this mess? Two questions in particular:

1) If I "re-install", would I lose my guestbook entries?

2) If that wouldn't work, how do I restore my index.php with guestbook entries? (I'm checking into the status of any backup that may have been made)

Hmm,

Is it not possible to get the comments to display the newest poll? I don't feel like updating my page every time I add a new poll, I want it to be dynamic.
