coz he cannot connect.

i have this problem too. i set the "poll width" in the settings and the long choice text wraps in the normal poll but once you view the results page the text no longer wraps and instead stretches the poll width as far as it has to go. are there any solutions?

the guestbook table appears in the center of the frame, rather than the left side of it. i can't find which code i need to change.

Correction: I should say that the instructions aren't very specific about any additional files beyond the folders/directories mentioned needing to be chmod'ed.

I installed Advanced Poll.

when I go into General Settings and change the Title and the number of responses for a new poll, it looks as though they have been saved. However, if I go to Create A New Poll, it doesn't change the number of responses and I notice the title doesn't change. Why aren't the settings staying put?

im having trouble aligning the whole guestbook page to the left of the page. is there a way i can do this, as my site is currently all left aligned and the guestbook, when opened, sits centered to its frame.
any help would be much appreciated.

after installing advanced guestbook 2.3.1 exactly as the instructions stated, i get the following errors:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in (my account)\www\scripts\guestbook\lib\gb.class.php(52) : eval()'d code on line 5

Dat was juist het probleem, - ik kon wel met "123 test" naar admin pagina, maar verder kon ik geen enkele link openen.
Bij drukken bvb op Password - kwam ik steeds weer terug, bij inlog met "123 test".
Maar nu heb ik elders op dit forum iets gevonden en bijgewerkt

Stap 1: (tijdelijk) chmod 666 config.inc.php
Stap 2: CPanel> My SQL db>phpMyAdmin>
Stap 3: db 'name_agbook'> book_auth> Browse> Edit> niuwe naam en password invoellen> opslan (Go)

Dat werkt! Misschien kan nog iemand anders deze tip gebruiken

I have installed your guestbook on my band-p http://www.styckwaerk.de/ , and I really like the GB

But I want to change the colors aof the scrollbar. On my Page the scrollbar hast the follownig definitions(colors).

scrollbar-face-color: #000000;
scrollbar-highlight-color: #000000;
scrollbar-shadow-color: #666666;
scrollbar-3dlight-color: #444444;
scrollbar-arrow-color: #009900;
scrollbar-track-color: #000000;
scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #000000;

What do I have to do to change the colors in the GB?

In the German support Forum nobody seems to be pleasent enough to help.

when you begin installing guest book its ask to create a new database or create tables in database(if already you have) I refer that you make a database before going to install guest book and then choose option (create tables in data base) and follow the instructions.
one thing more you must configure your config.inc.php file correctly to avoid any problems during installation.hope it will solve your problem.
