This fix works great! I think the line to change is in the config.inc.php file.
This fix works great! Now to address the problem of fake visits when I reload the page.
I should also point out that as well as removing

bgcolor="$pollvars[bgcolor_fr]"

i also removed

bgcolor="$pollvars[bgcolor_tab]"

Both of them I want transparent - no colour set.

Thanks
AW
I want the tables that it uses to display the poll & results to not have any background colour so that whatever is behind them will show through - in other words make them transparent.

The settings page in admin insists on a value being typed into the colour boxes - the javascript validation won't let you leave them blank therefore my solution was to remove the following from the template:

bgcolor="$pollvars[bgcolor_fr]"

which is an attribute of the <table> tag

This works great for displaying the vote options but when it displays the results of the poll it still puts in the table background colour.

Anyone know where the other template is that I need to edit?

Thanks
AW
Can you please tell me where you found the instructions for installation of the poll 2.2 software as I cannot see any installation instructions in the download
which file would this be under? visitor.php? I am having the same problem.

I would assume this would deal with your Style Sheet for the main site.

hello,
I installed the daily counter 1.1 a while back and I may not have done something correctly because a) ip logging only picks up 1-3 IPs at a time. I assume it refreshes the txt file after a day but during a 30 minute span, one IP is replaced by another. b)Visitors today changes from 1 to 13 after refreshing the page.

If anyone would have a solution or could offer advice to work thru this please post here.

By the way, this is one hell of a site and the info on it is amazing. I know nothing of PHP and this makes it so painless.

cheers,
tom
thx it works fine now

One more questions.. The code below let me do randomly poll, and it works fine. But it won't show other poll below it, I have 3 poll totals> It randomly show each poll when reload the page, but didn't show the poll list at the end. Know why?

[/code]
I got the poll installed according to the instructions posted here in the forums...

Thanks for that!!!

But now I can't get the Vote button to work. Not sure what is happening. Anyone else have this problem?

I will attempt to work on the layout once I get this thing running.

I have done all installation procedure but at the end, when I launch the poll, this message appear :

Parse error: parse error, expecting `','' or `';'' in /home/user/m/w/c/mwcrfu/www/MWCeng/poll/admin/common.inc.php(66) : eval()'d code on line 4

My god !!! not easy to configure it
